Symposium: Optical Clocks and Enabling Technology

Dear student or PhD student,
We are reaching out to you to announce the symposium “Optical Clocks and Enabling Technology” taking place on June 29, 2025 at Congress Innsbruck.
This satellite event to the ECAMP15 conference is organized by AQuRA and CoCoRICO, two European projects funded under the Horizon Europe Scheme that aim at the development of a portable strontium lattice clock and related cold atom technology. The event will feature 8 distinguished international speakers, of which the following have already confirmed their participation: 
  • Dr. Bruno Pelle (Lead Scientist MuClock at EXAIL)
  • Dr. Ronald Holzwarth (CTO and managing director of Menlo Systems GmbH)
  • Dr. Masao Takamoto (Quantum Metrology Laboratoy, RIKEN)
  • Dr. Stefan Schlütter (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfart e.V. ,DLR)
  • Dr. Jonas Keller (PTB)
  • Prof. Dr. Matthew Jones (Durham University)

After 70 registered participants, we will keep a waiting list. We kindly ask that, once registered, you attend the symposium. If you need to cancel your registration, please inform us by email on i.brouwer@uva.nl, such that we can fill your seat with somebody from the waiting list.
