Dear students!
The NYSE, the network for young scientists and engineers, is this semester again organising a lot of activities for you on the upcoming wednesday evenings. We would like to invite you to:
- 18th of October (today!) 18:00 Game night! in the Foyer VFH with boardgames and a Seeker tournament, a cool card game developed by people from this university.
- 25th of October (Next week!) 18:30 Panel discussion in Seminar room 1 ITP on the academic road. With a panel consisting of a master student, phd student, post-doc and a professor we talk about the stages of the academic road and share experiences. What do you do every day as a professor or researcher? And how do you get there? You can ask all your questions here!
- On the 8th, 15th and 22th of November, at 18:30 we will have short talks in HSB1 by phd students and postdocs about their work and the skills they have developed in academia, with lots of time for questions and discussion. For example you can learn about how to better communicate your science. And did you know you can also study the philosophy of physics? Come and find out!
All events include free snacks and drinks organised by the StV-Physik.
