The Trento-Innsbruck Quantum Information Tour is back!
The IQOQI and the Institut für Experimentalphysik are organizing (in collaboration with an association of students from the university of Trento) the 2024 edition of TIQIT, an event which aims to show the research in the quantum field (in a broad range) done here in Innsbruck and in Trento to bachelor and master students!
Dates: 18-24 February 2024!
The event will have a focus on Bose-Einstein Condensation, Nanoscience, Quantum Optics, and Quantum Information. It will allow 35 students to listen to lectures on forefront theoretical and experimental research in these fields by academics and prominent figures in Trento and Innsbruck. The event will start in Innsbruck at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information with lectures from the different research groups and visits to the labs both at the institute and at the Experimental Physics Department. The participants will later move to Trento. There they will get to know the Pitaevskii Center on Bose-Einstein Condensation and visit its labs. They will also be guided through the Nanolabs and visit the Bruno Kessler Foundation. The main goal of the event is not only to deepen the knowledge of quantum physics through lectures, workshops, and lab tours but also to help create a network of physics students and discover new places for studying and research.
